Day 2 : The Seeds Are Planted!

So, yesterday, I took the seeds, the pot and the little tablet of mud out of the box....

I added some water (I've no idea if it was 30ml - but I added til the tablet turned into mud.... lol)

I put the mud in the pot, the seeds in the mud, more mud on top, a touch of water and now we wait....

Hmmmm.... it doesnt say how long these things take! Nothing's happened in a day though!

And do 4 seeds mean I'll get 4 cucumbers? Oh the excitement!!

Day 1 : Opening the Box

Hendrick's Cucumber Cultivation Kit:

DIRECTIONS :
To grow your most unusual garnish :

1. Muddle the soil coin with 30ml of warm water.
2. Fill the pot with the freshly cultivated compost.
3. Sow the enclosed seeds beneath the surface of the soil.
4. Once grown, wedge, spear, ball or slice, and add to a glass of Hendrick's and tonic over ice.



Right... first problem - how much is 30ml?!! (bear in mind I don't have anything to measure with!) and is this something I should be growing in the shop - mud + clothing = a big mess?!

Hmmm... am sure I can manage this somehow - I can keep it out the back with the buddha, the corset money box and all the other curious gifts I've gained since opening the shop!!
